The New Logo Design
Silvernail Web Design was using a basic transparent logo design that has no real identifying attributes. Plain and ordinary it was time for a change. So I busted open Photoshop and got to work. One of the main aspects of todays web design world is that web sites and images have responsive properties. This means that whatever the size of the devices screen the most import aspects of the web site will scale to size. This is also true of images especially logos. The logo design is the identity of any said company. It must stand out.
With this in mind I chose to create the logo as a .png or portable network graphic. These images can scale without pixilation and distortion that occurs when using .jpg. So in conclusion I spent more than 4 hours creating multiple sizes for my full screen view. It had to be just perfect. I wanted it to be noticed. 2 weeks ago I thought I had come to a perfect size, large and in your face. 2 minutes ago I Decided it was too bold and settled on what you see here.
